We know link-building is hard
Links are a cornerstone of SEO. When it comes to competitive SERPs, high quality backlinks are often the competitive advantage as to why another site outperforms yours.
We know link-building is difficult – especially good backlinks. It can be costly and take up a lot of you and your team’s time. This is why we specialize in HARO® outreach for you so that you don’t have to concern yourself with the ins and outs of link acquisition.
How we’ll work with you
We’re big on transparency
1. Complete our simple onboarding process
In order to win PR mentions for you, we will need a few details from you or the brand that you represent. We’ll let you know if we can assist or not.
2. Choose a package that suits you
We offer a number of link-building packages. Depending on your SEO strategy, choose from a 3-pack or a 10-link pack (all HARO links are dofollow and will meet a minimum DR requirement of 25).
3. Stay in-the-know
We’ll update you each time you gain a backlink win from our HARO® outreach service. And if we’re not hitting our milestones, we’ll have an honest conversation with you to see our approach needs fine-tuning.
4. Gain authority and trust
Links are a cornerstone of SEO. When it comes to trust signals, having a site such as American Express as a referring domain is often what will help you compete against your competitors in the SERPs.
You have questions
We have solutions
What success rate do you have with HARO®?
From having send hundreds of HARO pitches to journalists, we understand that outreach is a volume game. You have to participate in order to have any chance of winning a PR mention.
From our data, for most businesses and brands, we expect to achieve a link win once per 20 pitches (i.e., 5 percent success rate). For clients who specialize in a certain industry, we typically see a link win once per 7 pitches (i.e., 14 percent success rate).
Since HARO is free to use why should we pay you?
Our clients choose our service because they are time-poor or have not interest in looking at daily emails for backlink opportunities.
Responding to HARO callouts is a time-intensive task. Getting a backlink from pitching to a HARO journalist involves a mixture of art and science. We’re constantly testing different approaches to find more efficient ways to help our clients achieve their goals.
Our clients range from busy agencies to sole proprietors who have a full-time job. They understand the importance of links and the need for a diverse link acquisition strategy but lack the time to do HARO outreach at scale. This is why they choose to work with us.
By employing our service, you’re leverage our experience so that you may use your time on other (pressing) matters.
How do you work with agencies?
We will go through our onboarding process and review your client list to gauge whether they will be a good fit for HARO. We will advise what we will need in order to achieve your desired KPIs.
For example, some brands may have a fictional persona. In these cases, we cannot represent said brand because HARO requires commentary from real experts.
Similarly, some executives may be hesitant to publish comments without first reviewing and approving each pitch. In these cases, we will work with you to ensure that your client understands what type of things we will say on their behalf.
If your client has an existing link building campaign, we’ll run a backlink analysis to make sure we do not double up on referring domains.
We will update you with each link earned via HARO outreach. If you like, we can also cc: you in on all our pitches.
Why would a large media company want to link back to me?
You may be surprised to find that we have achieved link wins from DR90+ websites to low DR websites. This is possible because we’re not pitching large media companies. Instead, we’re pitching individual people who write for large media companies.
At the heart of HARO, journalists have a problem they need solved and the way we pitch them via email is to offer them with the solution they seek.
Most of the time, they never see our emails due to time constraints and the sheer number of responses they receive. But 1 out 20 of our pitches typically end up earning a link from a high DR website.
From our experience, most freelance writers, journalists and bloggers already have done their research and have gathered the necessary facts. All they want are a few relevant professional experts to use as citing references to strengthen their argument. This is why a large media company such as Huffpost will link back to you.
